Family hampers include gifts for children 17 and under. Our goal is to provide approximately $75 worth of toys per child. We aim to provide one or two nice, larger gifts and then some stocking stuffers. We try to keep hampers as equitable as possible. Providing bigger ticket items like electronics, bikes, or sporting equipment is challenging for the campaign.
You can support our approach by donating toys under $75 and focusing on gifts that any child would be happy to open.
Here are a few gift ideas for toy donations:
Babies & Toddlers
Blankets, clothes, books, blocks, dolls, trucks and learning toys.
Due to the generous donation last year we have an ABUNDANCE of toys for babies 0-2 yrs.

- Mitts and toques/hats are also welcomed as gift items for all ages.
- Toothbrushes, toothpaste, children’s shampoo and soap can also be donated.
- We also like to include fun activities for the whole family – these could include board games, cards, family DVD’s and fun craft projects.
Where to bring toy donations:
Look for the Christmas Spirit Campaign toy donation boxes around town or drop off toys at FCSS (Canmore Civic Centre) and Royal LePage (#101 – 710 10th Street).
All donated toys must be new and unwrapped.
