Lynne Hately, Chair
Lynne is a professional fund raiser and accountant and has worked with a variety of non profit organizations in land conservation, international development and children’s mental health. Canmore has been home since 1998.
Ben Waldman, Treasurer
Ben is a bookkeeper and a business manager. He feels fortunate to be a long time Canmore resident. Ben has a passion for sports, outdoor recreation and adventure travel.
Marion Kutzer, Secretary
Marion has lived in the Bow Valley on and off since 1969 and permanently in Canmore since 1996. Marion experienced Canmore’s generosity first hand following the 2013 flood and felt that volunteering for the Christmas Spirit Campaign was one way to “give back” to the community. When not performing wedding ceremonies as an Alberta Marriage Commissioner, she enjoys all the Bow Valley offers and traveling with her husband.
Cathy Robinson, Member at Large
Cathy has called Canmore home for over 10 years. Cathy believes that volunteering is a great way to meet new people who also enjoy giving their time to the community to make life better for everyone.
Christine deSoto, Member at Large
Christine is a business owner in Canmore and has been since 1990. She has done a variety of volunteering and fundraising over the years – most recently starting the Bow Valley Elves and initiating an effort to raise funds to build a house in Nicaragua for a homeless family. She lives in Canmore with her husband, 4 children and 3 dogs.
Debbie Algeo, Member at Large
Debbie and her family moved to Canmore in 1977 and has called the Bow Valley home since. You can usually find her on the golf course through the summer months or out and about doing other activities. Over the years she has volunteered on several committees and has headed up the Royal LePage Food Drive for the past 23 years.
Hanna deSoto, Member at Large
Hannah was born and raised in Canmore and is excited to become more involved with the community. She spent lots of her time in University volunteering and hopes to bring some of that experience to the Christmas Spirit Campaign.
Matt Murphy, Member at Large
Matt is approaching his one-year anniversary living in Canmore. He has been working as an educator for over twenty years. He enjoys the small town feel of Canmore, its international flair and the opportunities to become involved in the community. In the past he has volunteered with Alberta Health Services and a local Chamber of Commerce.
Sally Caudill, Member at Large
Sally and her family have lived in Canmore for more than 13 years and feels fortunate to be part of the vibrant, passionate, and beautiful community in the Bow Valley.
Shannon Pauls, Member at Large
Born and raised in Canmore, Shannon is a mother of 3 boys, a business owner and enjoys volunteering for several organizations within the community.
